Good the first time, good the second! Rereading the series to gear up for ACoSF, which is glaring at my across the room from where it sits on my desk. I’m glad I decided to revisit the previous books before picking up this newest one. ☺️😍

So I read Midnight Sun, yeah? Then the whole series over... MS took a while. Like, 6 days in between normal life stuff. Man, Edward is long-winded, but then Twilight, NM, and E all went at a fairly good clip. Then Breaking Dawn came along. I remember devouring this book in 30 hours upon release. But this time I semi-slogged through it. I think one more round of edits would have made it a better book. But who knows?

After visiting these again after not reading the series for at least 10 years, I think this is my favorite in the series. Marginally. ;)

Reread after MS! I loved reliving this time of my life, but I sure am glad my reading taste has matured.

Yes, yes... after reading Midnight Sun, I decided to reread the series. Is this the great American novel (read: series)? Absolutely not. Am I relishing reliving my early 20s by reading these books again? Of course.

I was not prepared to like this book as much as I did. On to the next one!

Is it just me or does anyone else want her to write a book set, like, ten years in the future? I want to know who gets married and who has babies and if Iko and Kinney ever get together (really... it was a hate-kinda thing to begin with and maybe it'll morph into something else)... I wanna know how all their lives end up!!! I neeeeeed to know!

Aha! I'm not sure I would've caught this if I hadn't read the Mortal Instruments Series just before starting this book... Will said to never trust a duck. And in CoLS Jace says he hates ducks. Doesn't know why, but always has... Baha! :)

Oh mah... It's taking me forever to get through this book. Life seems to want to get in the way lately... :(

Found this book while helping my parents pack up their house and remembered how much I loved it as a child. Opened it and read the first couple pages and now I must finish it. It's been too long, Sarah. :)
