Not sure I can finish this book. Not grabbing me. Thought it would be good to read something outside my normal choices, but may not work!

I am having such a difficult time finishing this book. I loved all the other books by this author, but not getting into this one, but don't want to quit. I guess I'll just keep reading it in small doses while reading other books as well. I'm now five books behind. Yikes!

I can't stop to write my thoughts Just now...I'm hiking the trail alongside the author. The Appalachian trail fascinates me and I hike my hike vicariously.

Loving Joe Hill's "The Fireman". Horror is not a genre I read...well, except for Stephan King and now Joe Hill. I think he is an even better writer than his dear old dad.

Interesting so far, in that it lets me know I would be too terrified to enroll in a cooking school. Author doesnt have much of a personality, and tells a lot of home life details that just arent interesting...I will finish this though.
