I'm seeing post-truth conversations in this novel.

I'm going to have to finish this book, now that I'm reading reviews of how good it is. I really enjoyed the first half, but then the library insisted that I had to give it back to them -- that it had been in my possession for too long -- and I never remembered to reserve it again. I'll try to finish it by Christmas.

I'm really not far into this book, yet, but I've learned enough to be pretty confident that my youngest child is having migraines now.

After reading two of the stories, I'm feeling that I'm going to want to think about these after I read them, rather than zoom through the whole book and not have time to digest each story. I'm expecting this one will take me a while.

I just know that the library is going to demand this audiobook back before I get very far into it. I need to figure out how to create more time!

I thought I'd just wade into this book... see what the first chapter looked like and then set it aside for a week or two. Instead, it looks like I'll be reading this instead of pushing the bookmarks further along in the other books I'm reading.

I'm finally taking my daughter's advice and reading this book...

I probably shouldn't have read other people's reviews of this once I was this far into it. Seeing how many people are disappointed with this book makes it hard to keep reading. Also, I didn't realize it was part of a series. I didn't really want a new series of big books to read. Hopefully I'll read more over Christmas.

Yes, I'm reading this one out of order. I didn't intentionally skip it (oops!) and it doesn't matter too much anyway. (BTW: I find Isabella is particularly funny in this book.)

I've been listening to this on my commute, but now it looks like the library wants it back again, so I'm going to have to set it aside and come back to it. I love the alternative version of history this book describes, and how the two magicians for which the books is named are rediscovering different magical spells. I really don't want to set it down yet.

I was definitely, strongly hooked on this book immediately... a story told by a dog who has an interesting theory about what happens to dogs after they die.

Five pages into this and my son has changed his mind about what he wants me to read aloud to him. So... do I finish it myself and maybe have to reread it later, or do I wait for him to select it again and maybe never actually finish it? I'm undecided.

I'm enjoying this book a lot... but somewhere (I think because I first saw it in the travel section at Borders) I got the idea this was a non-fiction account of time spent in France. Even if it is fiction, it is very funny.

I had totally forgotten how much I love reading Jeff Noon's writing. His use of language and his creation of an entire culture amazes me.

The book started a bit slow, but is really picking up now. It's tough to distract me from the story with writing mannerisms, so I'm a little disappointed that he has managed to do it a few times already.

I'm trying to figure out why I didn't hear about this series until now. I'm REALLY enjoying the story, and -- what's more -- it's set in Australia. I really like getting the background description of what life is like there.

Wow! I never thought I'd find a graphic novel that would effect me as emotionally as "Maus," but here is "Epileptic" which has already had me hyperventilating (partly, of course, because it touches my life in a particularly tender spot). I just hope I can read this book all the way through.

This book had me from the first sentence. Despite reading the first few pages just after 4 am, I was laughing aloud. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this book.
