‘The Breathing Method’. 3.5/5 stars.

Probably the only horror novella in this collection (there’s an argument for Apt Pupil as well).

The Body. 3/5 stars.

Solid and had its moments, but the weakest so far.

Apt Pupil. 3.75 stars. A strong start with a few surprise twists. It did drag on a bit too long - I found myself expecting the ending several times before a new development kept it trundling along.

Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption - 4.25 stars.

Very strong start and great narration. Gives off Red Rising vibes.
