I will say, I enjoy the alien pods in the movie, Arrival, better than how they're described in Chiang's short story. Sorry, Chiang.

This is almost too intense for me. I just can't read things where children suffer. And it makes me think of what's going on in other war-torn countries. Suffering is not a thing of the past. It's very present.

This gal is using the word "save" way too much. blah blah blah "save this" yadda yadda "save that." Enough.
