I think I’m gonna pause this one for now and try to read the physical book instead, because I just met the main love interest and the narrator’s accent for her is so absolutely horrendous. I’m not in love with the writing so far… it seems very insta-love… but I’m gonna try to withhold my judgements until I actually can read it

I’m not a fan of this narrator and it’s making it hard for me to want to sit and listen to this for extended periods of time

It seems like people who read this either love it or hate it, so I am nervous about starting it. We will see which side I fall on!!! But I’m excited because I’m listening to the audiobook and one of the narrators is Emily Woo Zeller and she’s amazing.

Is this author actually autistic? Because I’m finding it hard to believe that Pepper would happily wear a shirt that says “ask me about my special interest.” That kinda feels like the author was like “google search what is autism,” and then found the shirt on Amazon under “gifts for autistic people” 🤨 (I’m trying not to over analyze. I’m failing)
