Seriously, people, how did this get cult literature status? I mean, it's funny and I roll my eyes a lot but even 50 shades of grey had more of a plot.

Nothing is really happening in terms of overall plot development, like we are still where we were at the end of the second book but at least there is an illusion of action and I drink every time the author comes up with a new reason why main characters aren't allowed to have sex so I'm good.

Listening to this in parallel with re-reading Laini Taylor was a really bad idea.

I may come back to this book in the future but right now it doesn’t match my vibe. The characters are really good but the action is too slow and I’m really struggling with the style.
