I love Rosen’s writing style.

I hate when I start a book without realizing it’s YA fiction. 💀 I’m so invested in the story but I don’t know if I can power through the dialogue.

I’m getting really tired of every female character in this series turning out to be an absolute moron.

Have you ever watched a horror movie and screamed at the TV because the characters just couldn’t see what was happening?

This is causing me anxiety. 🙈

More accurately subtitled: “The History of Vulcanology and Dutch Colonialism in Indonesia”.

This book had its interesting points, but it was a bit of a slog at times.

So so interesting. This hits on my deepest, most long-lived inner turmoil. (As it turns out, my insecurities may have more grit than I do. 🤔)
