ngl for a premise that discussed time travel, we sure are spending like 85% of the book so far in the present times!

so far the author is doing a really good job at writing this main character as absolutely insufferable

i lowkey think the situation would be so much more terrifying if king didn't reveal to us that mr hallorann got the message and was on his way... just absolutely no way out but through and a crazy possessed drunk being wearing the face of your husband/father locked in the pantry haha

this is a very witty book thus far, i'm having a blast

unless i’m crazy, she just broke her collarbone??? like two days ago???? and the day before???? she literally had to re-set the bone??? but now all she has are bruises which are already fading to yellow/green??? these people are humans with no superpowers? i’m going crazy.

it’s the fourth time they’ve ever interacted (all the times before they’ve tried killing each other) and she’s already ogling his forearms…. i don’t think i can do this 😭
