Looking at it from the perspective of an individual, censorship is control over what people can say. And as individuals ourselves, this is what we usually think censorship is. But from a perspective higher up on Emergence Tower, censorship is control over what a giant can think. To a giant, censorship is mind control.

This book is now officially taking over my actual, literal dreams. I like it.

when will i get rid of the books i am stuck with so i can read the books i actually enjoy - an autobiography

In light of recent events, I have decided to put aside all the books I was reading and start afresh. Recent events being that I bought a new book.

Because either;
1) I've read the book already, in which case I don't want to read it all again, I know all this stuff already.
2) I haven't read it yet, in which case thank you for leaving nothing for me to discover in the actual book.

Why do people who write reviews feel the need to describe the entire plot of the book? I NEED THE REVIEW TO TELL ME WHAT WAS GOOD AND WHAT WAS NOT. I DON'T NEED YOU TO TELL ME THE ENTIRE THING.

I don't remember the writing in The Kite Runner being this bad.

Well, not knew it knew it, but I had a pretty strong feeling. I did sort of spoil it for myself. But oh well, I'm excited!

I love it when I get the pop-culture/literary references in a book. It's like an inside joke between me and the writer.

Is everything in this book supposed to be this predictable?
