There’s something in King’s writing that quietly lingers, a strange unease that pulls you in. He knows how to place his characters on the edge, and their despair feels almost real. It reminds me of The Long Walk. Still can’t predict where the story will lead, but every page feels heavy with misery 🫠

Traumatic. Apparently Ringo-Star won’t get a happy ending… that’s just too cruel, author-nim. Take the humans if you want, but don’t touch the animals 😫

The craziest novel I’ve ever read from a Korean author. The plot is complex, presenting different perspectives from multiple characters, even dog's pov is portrayed here. I wouldn’t say the pacing slow, because the storyline is actually intricate, feels like it contains many different arcs that will eventually connect. It's a serious read, not just anyone could write a crime thriller this layered. Bravo author!

Just started the first arc and I’m already hooked! Six ambitious students who were "forced" to be partners now competing for one spot at Spiralinks.

Kinda relate to Hatano as the MC.. observant, a bit naive, anxious, and always comparing himself. Can’t wait to see where his and other's arc will go.

Each time I reach the end of an arc in this book, I find myself quietly tracing back through my own life. It’s a book that soothes the soul and warms the heart in equal measure 😌🩵✨

Turns out, this book shows archaeological evidence for war in early prehistory is minimal. Strikingly, neither cave paintings nor ancient skeletons often depict clear scenes of war, a sharp contrast to our common.

This is the most absurd novel I've ever read. But actually I pretty enjoy it, since the stories reminded me of tales of unusual and diary of desire's plot on webtoon 😗
