Kind of dull

Pretty good so far, now getting tiresome. Descriptions of water and food storage and weapons is now super dull. I love these guys on the podcast but really am not too fond of any of their books. Ill finish it but it will be a chore.

Pretty good so far

Fascinating but super slow going.

Very tough to get through this book. None of the characters are really doing it for me and the plot is pretty much one gunfight after another. I really wanted to like a Lesbian headed motorcycle murder mystery but it is rough going.

This was a great adventure until the main character has sex in a hayloft. Get real so stupid and unlikely. I am close to done and have to finish but I read these type of books because there is not romance. Gross.

Another reviewer said the first 150 pages were slow. It is exactly 150 pages. I wasn't sure I was going to finish the book but now I can't stop reading it and won't want it to end!!

"If anyonwe held Dad and me undersuspicion of vegetable cruelty, they didn't report us. We remain at large" The book is full of this kind of ultra-nerd speak. She also dried seeds on her vacation in Tuscany. Dear God really??

So far she is quite annoying and nauseating. Her daughter Camille is as well. Tobacco sent her to college and where would any of us be if Barabara Kingsolver hadn't gone to college!!?? She does come across as self righteous and although I think she is attempting humor she is unable to convey it. The topic is interesting I wish I had a filter to filter out all her crap and just read the important stuff.

This book is super boring I may not finish it.

Really fascinating. I thought I drank a lot of coffee but I think Swedes have me beat.
