The daughters' names are Liberty, Anthem, and Glory? WTAF? Anthem?? I may have to DNF on chapter 2

I never DNF but I might have to. So many examples of how bizarre and just plain bad the writing here is, but just came across this sentence:
"His green eyes looked like raisins, his eyebrows like bushes."

I mean..wtf.

OTOH, it did make me laugh.
