I’ve really enjoyed this book. My only frustration; WHY is she playing along with Malcom’s game. I really don’t like it.

Jane has a very frustrating habit of not properly sticking up for herself (sometimes that also includes her friends). Often that means completely letting others talk over or down to her and if she does try standing up she always manages to NOT use the strongest arguments available to her. Many of there times feels more like hand of the author wanting to drag out the drama…

I like the set up so far, but it would be nice if the «can’t stop drooling over the hot guys» trope was cranked down a level or ten…

This whole conflict could have been kept from massivly escalating so easily if they’d get off their asses and PUBLICLY DISCREDITED THE GUY. It’s SO frustrating to read about all the tension and riots when they haven’t even tried the first and best solution to slow him the fuck down

I’m happy she’s pushing Alec more, but first TALK. Have an honest conversation, please! And also why, oh WHY is it that when you push for intimacy properly, you have to take the most reserved and private person in the bond and do it outside in public??? Hello?!?

I liked it a lot up until the bond really happaned. It felt like she was slowly losing who she was before and got more doormat-y the further the book got. The closet scene made me really annoyed. How she was all for the touchy stuff (because of the bond which made it more annoying since it just pushed her from her original set up) and how incapable of lying or standing strong she was.

I wish we could relax with the sex attraction. Make it harder to enjoy any relationship development happening. Also she gave in WAY too quick with Chaos sleeping in her bed, she should have kicked him out. I thiught she was stronger than that, it disappointed me.

Not a fan of how chummy Sophie is with Ruby. Set boundaries and push back!

I’m very much not a fan of badass heroines that for some stupid reason can never best or properly talk smack to their love interest. It makes her look wishywashy

Morgen fucking SUCKS at convincing anyone of anything. Why does she NEVER use the good and very obvious reasons?

Damn she was doing surpisingly good about not falling into the bonded hot people trap…I want the struggle! I want the hesitance! Bjt I want to feel the impact of it before she gives in. But the moment he said he’d wait for her to be ready she kisses him! Wait!!

Mmmmm I’m so ANNAOYED!!! I h.a.t.e. that she doesn’t rebuff the vampire.

She just kissed the headmaster after the test. Or he kissed her… regardless; what the actual hell?

My feelings on this book is very conflicted at the moment. I love the characters in themselves and the plot is intruiging. The problem is the attraction, how mindless and forced it makes the relationship feel. I can give Zane more leeway, but my frustration with Raven’s inability to go 2 seconds without thinking how hot Zane is… has had me frowning a lot. Like any scene the topic is up or whenever she gives in
