It’s frustrating that I am having to constantly look back to the author’s website to try and confirm who characters within the the story are related to. I’m unsure how to better communicate who people are but it’s not in the current form.

I’m so confused, is this an NA genre book wrapped in a Devil Without A Cause / West Side Story bow? Where is the mafia link? Just because people are Italian doesn’t make them mafia ..:. What am I reading?

I’m disappointed, I have waited to read this series and honestly I am forcing myself to continue reading. There are 5 books in this series and I am trying to figure out how?!! I’m going to put this down and come back to it.

So the angst to me is reading as a plot point. This isn’t sufficient to keep me reading. I’m going to push pause for now.

Uninteresting story building is making it difficult to engage with this book. Even with copious amounts of wine.....

I'm putting a pin in this one. I find the /h's BFF to be about as readable as nails on a chalk board. Her increased page participation in the 2nd book over the 1st may be a deal breaker for me. Yes, she is that annoying.

I think a better title for this book is tormented. It's a well written story but would like a little levity in my reading.

What in the ever loving #%*!!? am I reading? I can't decide if I hate it, want to DNF, or is it a train wreck gem in the rough.
