Old friends meet at a remote location to celebrate the New Year. One if them is murdered. We don’t know who it is, as the story takes place the day after New Years and flashes back to New Years Eve. It’s very chatty. I thought it was a locked room mystery. It’s not. But there is a great deal of suspense and a whole lotta drama. Not my cup of tea but a good story.

Because of developing technology, uncertain markets, the evolving workforce, and civil rights, the science of American education will always be in a state of change. That is America...But it’s the artists who make it work!

It wasn’t the sharks they had to defend against!😮 a little slow until book three—some interesting nuggets here and there before Hashimoto’s attack. Then it gets crazy, really crazy.

Every chapter ends with another twist. Reading this is like peeling an onion. Very entertaining mystery, thriller.

Headline grabbing trash, validated by media hysteria. Pure and simple: junk. ...Oh, I want talking about the book. In case you forgot about the nonsense we’ve lived through the past year. Wolff is a horrible writer; that’s why I gave it three stars.

Well written. Spells out in laymen's terms Wall Street's shameless greed and the devastating ways it effects our economy and politics. Leopold makes a good case for some hopeful solutions : supporting the "Robbin Hood" tax, ending the "carried interest" loophole, and creating 49 public state banks.
