Great book! I read it in the 90s and was looking to see if this was on audio (which it's not and that's a damn shame). I picked it up on ebay and re-read it.
Love the character development and the insider's knowledge of the publishing industry (as it was). Editors seemed to have a lot of pull back in the day and I've been wondering where they all are now. Most of the books I've read lately could use one
