I do not like the repetitive use of “F bombs” throughout. I feel like it takes away from the professionalism of the author. I also find the use of a narrator as a distraction and pointless. It would have been better to weave the plot details within the storyline. While I’m going to continue to read this book because it appears a popular read, I currently find it very poorly written.

Having some difficulty following this book due to the multiple characters and plots. Waiting to see how this all fits together, including the strange octopus.

I am not enjoying this book at all. The plot is boring and it seems to drag. I’m sticking with it and trying to finish, but blah.
