This could be quite a surprisingly wonderful book. Written by a transcriptionist (former) for the Times, about a transcriptionist who becomes obsessed about a story which comes through. A blind woman has been killed by a lion, and the transcriptionist had a brief encounter with her within days of her death. She must find out who the woman was and why she climbed into the lions' den.

So very different. Interesting perspective (narrator being death), but quite cleverly written. I'm intrigued.
