Middle of Chapter 47 and I think I have a theory:
<spoiler> In Ch46, a pretty large clue is revealed that Kihrin is likely directly related to Pedron who allegedly should be his Great Half-Uncle. Then Ch47 he is experiencing the vision of a "King?" on an unknown battlefield in an unknown time. The inscription on painting "Wizard, Thief, Knight, King." Maybe Kihrin and Pedron are actually the same "entity"!</spoiler>
