The main characters are bad…? I’m not sure how to describe them other than I didn’t like them. But I also don’t like the writing style I think?

Banter is good, but do we need banter the whole story? It’s a LOT of telling and not showing.

I was very hopeful because it has so many good reviews but alas I did not like it. :/

But - why is she spelling day dae? Like it’s the one word she’s choosing to not spell in a “normal” way?

I'm 131 pages in and I am not liking this book. The main character Ember is super annoying and whiny. The plot is so predictable and the other characters are cliché to the extreme. Disappointed so far.
