Okay. I did attempt to read this book last year. But I was intimidated by its sheer heft! Didn’t get into it and had to abandon it. This time around I’m going to read it consistently; slowly progress through it.
One issue I’m having is with the large number of characters. I can easily forget a name I read just a minute ago! Not ideal with a book like this.

So I've segued from a Victorian-era serial killer non-fiction book to a contemporary NZ true crime book. It was, and still is, an interesting case: who would want to murder this man from Feilding? Let's see how it goes.
