I was bored by the beginning; I could have cared less about the family camping trip. The book got somewhat better as I got into it. I found it interesting the process Beth used to write her first Bible study and how it really launched her career. Also how she was treated in the end for speaking out against Trump and his nonchalant attitudes towards how he treated women was eye opening.

This was a great book to read. It will make me a more understanding friend to those in my life who are going thru or have finished a cancer journey. I never gave thought to what it is like to have to enter back into “normal” life.
