Good lord, do not let 70 year old authors write their own forwards to a book... "get off my lawn" isn't exactly a thesis I want to read before your fictional horror story

Yawn, it's become apparent to me that certain books were given to authors that really wanted them... And others were handed out..."so who wants to write about space furries? Nobody? Okay, Dan,you're up!"

Oh no! Sullivan Jones did such a great job with the audiobooks, having some trouble with the new narrator

Going to give this another read, as I distinctly remember not liking the character motivations and some of the plot machinations when I read it before. However, I really liked the TV series and I remember thinking the writing was quite good otherwise.

Woof, this is the worst book I've read in quite some time. DNF is a real possibility which is rare for me. Cox all but admitted this was written over decades and it shows.

This book is way too long and surprisingly bad for how good the movie is...

Stella Parks is an absolute delight. Her history on the graham cracker is a perfect example of what an amazing cookbook this is: "Perhaps the whole thing's just dramatic irony, but in my heart of hearts, I'll always believe those maligned Boston bakers set out to serve Graham his just desserts."

Walter Tevis is always good. This is an adult sci-fi take on Idiocracy. Vey intriguing so far.

it's very much the Equalizer with a Jason Bourne like cutout who forgoes the amnesia because his characterization is paper-thin.

I must of picked up this audiobook on sale at some point and so far the dialogue is... cringe-y. The good news is I don't have to see the horrible English accent words written out.
