I’m having a moment with Rhys Darby so here I am reading his kids book

I’ve read this already but the audiobook comes so highly recommended and I love Michael C Hall so here we go.

Technicolor was super but I don't know about most of the other ones so far. I think maybe they're a little long for me as short stories and maybe I should be taking more of a break between them to let them sink in. I am looking forward to Mother of Stone, even though I know that's the longest one.

I like this audiobook because the narrator sounds like he could be Hugh Dancy if Hugh Dancy had a generic American accent.

Another reread since I’m watching the show

I'm going to finish listening to this but whew it is not really for me. I enjoyed the beginning enough to listen far enough in that I now no longer want to DNF but my expectations are not high. I am tired of hearing about Narnia and a dead lady's eye. There is 0 scary atmosphere.

What if I listened to every Stephen King book

Really side-eyeing myself for listening to another 45+ hour Stephen King book, particularly this one at this time lol

Why is this the second book I’ve read recently presented as somebody’s journal and yet it’s written not at all like how I’d imagine somebody in this situation would write a journal? What’s the benefit of presenting it that way? Would somebody really recount entire conversations this way in a journal aghhhhh
