This book was great from start to finish. Pulls you in quickly and holds your interest. Characters are great and you get to know them well so you don't get confused on who is who. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mysteries. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

Really great storyline so far. This definitely pulls you in and isn't giving anything away

Good so far. Quickly draws you in but keep in mind this is written as the 5 year old Anna is telling the story. This helps because it's all the thoughts and emotions going through her mind.

I am finally really into this now but at the really sad part. The entire book so far is sad but now it's really heartbreaking. I can say that the tears definitely flow while reading this book but it's still worth reading...even if it takes a while.

Still having a hard time getting through this one. Great story of courage but not a quick read. I think at this point it's just hard to take in what these soldiers were put through and the terrible things they have embedded in their minds.

So..I have picked this up and started it about 3 times now. This time I am going to submit my progress as I go to force myself to finish it. My reasoning for stopping isn't because it is a bad book or poorly written. It is however the fact that it is such a heartwrenching book about 2 great men that were taken too soon. It's sad and depressing but also a fact of life....this deserves great praise!
