Done with the original 13 chapter, let's see how the extended 20 chapter one compares. I kind of hope for less of lord Henry. I found him much more tiresome on this reread than when I read the book years and years ago.
Also, I quite fail to see impropriety or innuendoes that should have prompted a second version...

Halfway in, it is an absolute rehash of the previous book and hits every cliche possible. It even goes out of its way to add a few more in the mix. Let's hope this trend does not continue in this or the next books.
