I'm enjoying this so far, however it is taking me forever to read

i have dnf’ed the last 3 books i’ve tried reading it’s getting bad for me 😭

as interesting as this is, i’ve listened to 11 hours and there are still 9 hours left and i don’t think i can take much more of this book. at this point the only reason i haven’t dnf’ed is because of the sink cost fallacy

still having fun! trying to finish this before saturday so i don't feel completely guilty about going to a book store like a planned

I'm having fun so far. this book isn't going to change my life or anything but I'm entertained

Has anyone read Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon? I'm very new to the fantasy genre (I started reading it this year) and I am interested, but is it a more advanced fantasy book if you know what I mean? Is it beginner friendly?
