I cannot add books. It looks like I shall have to leave the site.

One hundred flyers delivered locally to try to sell the last few copies of "Penny Down the Drain" before "Penny and the Poorly Parrot " comes out in June. So far, no reaction. Now I have to decide whether to sell them together or concentrate on the second book. Maybe some kind of an offer? I still haven't heard from the bookshop about a launch. Looks like I'll have to think of another venue. Hey ho!

Please let me know if you ever read 'The Tree that Sat Down ' and the 'Stream that Stood Still' by Beverley Nichols? If so, I may have a surprise for you in the next couple of months.

Grateful thanks to those who put reviews of my previous books on Goodreads and Amazon. Hopefully the next story will be even more exciting as I am about to start making a recording of it. This will be for children and should be out in the Spring of 2021.

I'm trying to write a children's book as a change from my recent romance " More Fish in the Sea."
I have been told there is no such thing as a women's book. Do you agree?
My next talk was going to be about writing for women. I thought it was advisable to target readers but maybe we should just write for ourselves.
Reading reviews on Goodreads is helping me choose books for this strange time. Best Wishes to all.

I don't think I can finish this book. Maybe this is just not the right time to read it. I am going to put it aside until I feel like trying again.

I really enjoyed the writing style and that kept me reading to the end although it was not the kind of book I usually choose.

I have found I am reading a lot of books that are not the first of a series lately and have commented on my blog. Balancing the need to introduce characters and situations to new readers while not alienating those who just want to get on with the action is an extra challenge to novelists who write series.

I have only just discovered general update. I thought it was for the book I am reading but now find out it can be used to interact with friends and followers. I shall be delighted to communicate with you all and hope that you will check out my new website www.juliecround.co.uk.
Also, I review every book I read and would be happy to discuss them with other readers.I have abandoned twitter.

Glad to find a UK site to record the books I am reading and writing but can't understand why the posts are that way up!
