This book definitely has a lot of funny moments on it, but I can see how some people could question what the “problems” are for the women in this book.

Detoxification Syndrome: pg 14 the insistence of one’s consciousness returning to certain, images or even the compulsive search for them. It is a variant of the Mean World 🌎 Syndrome where people have a particular type of infection where they spend hours in front of the TV searching for horrendous news.

Graft might be my favorite chapter. We get the beginning of the connections of Davis’ apple tree, and the Birds.

Chapter 3: values

Chapter 2 title witness: Omar is asking the journalism world of the West: how can someone maintain the ethical double-jointness or the daily basement of modern political life? How does one maintain the façade and sleep at night while the journalist who bring the reality of the world to light our daily slaughtered and their western colleagues with no such fear accept this as a sad lot for journalist around the world
