Finishing this feels impossible but so does finishing my dissertation and I figure two years from now perhaps both mountains will have been scaled. It’s difficult to judge progress on the latter so chipping away at the former feels like a suitable stand-in. Choosing a translation is a secondary crisis but an old set of the Moncrieff/Kilmartin was on the shelf and I’m in it now, despite preferring the Davis?
