Not Neil giving a Druid a surfer dude accent.
😅

I've already laughed out loud several times. Astarion and Dalyria's relationship, as interpreted by Kingfisher is priceless. Neil Newbon's reading performance is great as I expected. He gives child Astarion and his father a Brummie accent. 🥰😅
It's not just funny, tho. There are some really good scenes showing the source of Astarion's trauma.

i'm still reading this...i had it with a pile of books destined for library returns but then i had some time to kill while waiting in the car for my husband so i got more than half-way through and decided to hold onto it and finish. it is a pretty easy, enjoyable read.
