This book is wonderful so far. The first-person narrator is an older woman in early-middling stages of Alzheimer’s disease, but she’s doing a good job of doing the Living part of Assisted Living. The author does a great job getting inside this woman’s head…I have A.D. in my family and I was crying in recognition.

It’s also an exciting thriller/mystery! It has everything you could possibly want.

I've read the first 3 novellas thus far. Mankell can do no wrong with Wallender. I *do*, however, miss the pace of the novels.

Ah...my Wallender is back...I've missed him so...

over halfway through and needing to carefully mete out the pages or else I'll devour it in one gulp!
