Amir comes off as an idiot. He is in charge of getting contracts for a major shipping company, but he can’t use complex thinking in every day life. These women are stumping him at every turn.

I feel like every trope was thrown into this story: frenemies, enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, workplace romance, big bad boss/employee, BDSM, secrets romance, forced proximity, and instant love/instant chemistry. Although they are only 6 years apart in age, I also feel like this is an age gap romance. This novel is long without much sustenance and I want it to end.

Quinci is immature and annoying, Dymon is annoying and ignorant. Together they are like two 16 year olds. I don’t understand the relationship or why they are together. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

DNF. I’m exhausted with Cassie.

All of the characters have the same voice/sound the same. The narrator does not give any distinct tone to any of the characters. So far boring.

So far I’m enjoying this novel. With the Cardi B and Nicki Minaj beef on social media, this novel is aging well.

Reese & Jason are funny.
