Really whipping my way through this 55 page novella

Took me like 5 days to get past page 2 but that’s more a reflection of how I’m doing these days than it is of the book. Hoping a new and tiny Jane Austen work will get me moving

Not quite the right medicine in book form for me rn, jt turns out. Always beautiful and quiet, but so quiet I can’t shut up my brain enough to read it. Slooow going this time around :-/

Not DNFing bc I’m loving this book, but pausing it for the moment bc I’m in need of some happier/lower stakes distractions rn

Picking up this book again in the hopes it’ll feel like medicine ☀️🤞🏻
