A bit of a lull here in the middle. We started off so strong, but we have a variety of storylines, that have yet to really come together at the halfway point. Some of these are a bit less exciting than others, I'm looking forward to seeing it all piece together but definitely at a "push through" point of this novel.

I'm enjoying this one so far! It's a fun, straightforward thriller so far.

The amount of dread this book is building is oozing from the pages. I’m obsessed.

Just hit part 2! I’ve heard a lot of reviews saying part one was a slog to get through but I was invested.

I didn't realize that the ARC I got for Blood Like Ours was a sequel, so gonna get this one done before I start my ARC read.

Stalled on this one for now, I was liking it so far, just a bit in. However, other books were calling to me more for now! I'll get back to this after I get some others finished

This is taking me so much longer than it should! I'm really enjoying this one, the pacing is perfection with the perfect amount of dread and mystery. However, it's currently my before bed read and I keep falling asleep, especially as things are starting to get super intriguing.

Omg. I cannot put this book down. Every page of this book is dripping with dread.

Ack! I fell asleep while I was reading, I couldn’t put it down! I really hope the ending isn’t terrible because this book is one of the best I’ve read in a long time so far.

Completely sucked into this story! I love when they hook you from the start. My only complaint is that it's obvious the writer didn't bother asking someone who knows anything about horses before writing about them. Just a pet peeve of mine. Please don't write about things if you don't know the proper names or uses of things.

DNF, which is extremely rare for me. This was terrible.

I need someone to tell me this is worth it, halfway done and I am STILL bored to tears. I almost never DNF but this one may be one of the very few. I get that this is a slow burn mystery, but we are still plodding along at the halfway point?

Oof, this is dark, heavy, and compelling at the same time. Crane's self loathing is breaking my heart, not gonna lie.

Not totally vibing with this. It started off with a bang and has been dragging since. Gonna keep on going and hope it picks up soon.
