Definite spoilers for book one.

Naomi at Night. Just the sound of those words takes me back to the time there was only 3 major broadcasting channels on tv and they went off the air every night.

Those of a certain age will remember late night talk. Just like Clint Eastwood's PLAY MISTY FOR ME and Gary Cole's MIDNIGHT CALLER. And of course, it triggers trouble ahead. That is a given with this series.

Who listens to late nite radio now?

Interesting case of the missing Oxford student and the murdered cat.

I like the writing style and the historical time period.

Not enjoying as much as book one, but it is my bedside book.

Enjoying it between innings of summer baseball.

Wow!

This is nothing like Holmes and Watson.

The first person voice keeps throwing me out of the story. In addition, there are several typos and/or misspellings which need editing. There are many unpleasant characters and the plot is weak. I probably won't finish this one.

One more disc to go...

There is no one in this book to like. I can't figure out why so many people liked it.

This is a very interesting premise. Enjoying the writing and the plot a great deal.

Unfortunately, my kindle app expired while I was reading this and took awhile to replace. I am back on track reading now.
