I think after years of reading King, this was the first book I not only didn’t like, but put down before I finished it.

I CANNOT PUT IT DOWN. Sorry for the yell 😳😀but King is so brilliant. I am always very very excited when I find a book that I have not read and this was one of them. It’s over 1000 pages long and I’m so happy for that!!!!

I could not read this book! It’s a rarity, but I know when it’s futile to try and get through it.

IT IS SO WONDERFUL! I have a permanent smile as I turn each page.

This started out slow for me but once I gained momentum I began to enjoy it very much! It’s fascinating to learn how we viewed electricity and to witness Westinghouse verses Edison! Really great plot too!

Well it “had me” on the third page, however it’s already had heartbreaking references to animals. Ugh. And while it is relative to the story, it’s always hard for me to read. So as soon as I anticipate it coming so to speak, I try to avoid the parts.

I’m not sure how I feel about this book! I know I want it to be over, but not because I DON’T like it, but because there are just too many dilemmas! My head hurts. And I gave up attempting to keep track of family tree explanations. Finally I’m tired of reading descriptions of their copulation 😳......never thought I’d say that! 😳🙃. But I must proceed!

I said I was not going to read another one of her books but I couldn’t get to the library in time so I started this in now I have to finish it! Still a little too graphic for me though
