3.5⭐️ Assumptions. Reactivity. Emotional sensitivity. Longwinded.

Second time around. I loved these books the first time around (first read about 3 years ago), I still love them, the humour, the growing affection, the trials and tribulations of the characters and of course the romance make these books a heart warming read.

Wow. I knew I would become quickly engrossed in this book and I have. I feel frissons of excitement buzzing through me as I become involved with the characters and storyline, I hope it continues throughout the book.

This is not a safe book, there are many triggers that some people could find very upsetting. The violence in this book is much, much more graphic and aggressive than in the first book of the series, I had to stop reading it.

What is it with authors that be-labour the "he doesn't see me like that" line? In this book it's become tiresome and boring.
