Still not enjoying this book. At this point I’m just gonna muscle through and finish it. My guess is there will be some big revelation and possibly a cliff hanger at the end that will make me hate it even more.

Still struggling to understand how people are enjoying this.

Pretty bored so far. All the characters are just traveling and not really doing anything. Blah. Hope it picks up soon.

Ok so I have absolutely SLOGGED my way through this series up until this point. Like yeah there was enough there to keep me committed to it but I was never sold… but so help me I think I’m starting to see it. If this story comes together the way I hope it will I can see it being epic and maybe I can understand why people are so obsessed with it.

First part of this book really had me questioning why I decided to finish this series. I wasn’t loving any of the characters and I kind of hate how it seems like the author couldn’t decide on a MMC so she just kept introducing new ones. But by the end of part 1 I was liking the turns the story was taking and I’m glad Rowan is back.

Eh. So far I’m bored. I was with the last book of his I read as well. I really want to like it so I’ll give it maybe another hour of my time before I DNF.

Really good! Only 30 mins left and I ran out of time on Spotify. Will pick up when march hits. I like how our FMC is coming into her power and won’t let anyone push her around including the MMC. She finds her freedom any way she can even if it gets messy and there’s a lot of power in that.

I really love that we are getting some backstory for some of the characters!

How is this a slow burn and not all at the same time? I’m dying. But enjoying it. This whole world/storyline/saga is so convoluted and detailed that I’m worried I’m missing things even though I went back and reread a bunch before starting this one. Hanging in there by a thread as far as keeping all the pieces sorted in my head.

Not loving. About ready to DNF.

Trudging along with this one. Never too excited to dive back in but once I’m reading it’s ok. Lots of details and set up going on - no real action yet.

I am enthralled. This is absolutely fascinating.
