the level of miscommunication in this book is legit starting to irritate me. and the level of immaturity. YOU'RE MARRIED AND YOU CAN'T TELL YOUR WIFE YOUR EX CAST A SPELL ON YOU. i almost only read YA and these are by far some of the most annoying teenagers.

I am loving this series. My one complaint, and it's not that big of a deal, is the constant guilt Poppy feels. I know she values mortal life and doesn't want people to be hurt, and that's very admirable but girl, the other side murders babies. They would not give a second thought to killing everyone you love. IDK. Maybe I don't value life enough but I wish Poppy would feel a little less guilty.

Soooo much better than the 1st book. I'm excited to finish!

Why is the girl best friend always a bitchy in YA romances. It's an annoying trope.

People warned me that the first half of this book was slow. They were NOT kidding. I am so freaking bored. I literally do not care about the characters.

I like the story between the two mcs but the world building in these books is so weird and it throws me off the story.

Damn, Panem is a grim place. I thought it was a terrible place in the Hunger Games but this has it beat.

Not what I expected but I'm loving it so far

This book is far too long. I still have 8 hours left and there's been several battles, a kidnapping (again) and people being separated (again). This could have easily been cut in half and been a great ending.

It took me awhile to get into this but now I'm really enjoying it

Is Gretchen supposed to be the disliked character? Because I dislike her.

OK i know there's going to be one more big reveal before the end but literally everyone but Red and Arthur can go fuck themselves. Oliver is awful and Maddie does nothing to help her life long best friend.

Kenji is an asshole. Juliette has been locked up with no human interaction for years after the ultra traumatic experience killing a toddler on accidentand finally, finally some body comes along that cares for her and even that gets taken away and Kenji has the nerve to tell her to get over herself? I really hate his character.

I do not like the narrator for this audiobook. I'm sure it's an excellent book but the narrator is so bland.
