Finished chapters 4-7. The Keeper of the Keys (ch 4) is when Hagrid comes to retrieve Harry and reveals the truth to him.
In Diagon Alley (ch 5), Harry is introduced to the wizarding world while shopping for school supplies.
I liked The Journey From Platform Nine and Three-Quarters (ch 6) because we see more of Harry’s personality.
Chapter 7 is The Sorting Hat and I liked how Harry’s insecurities were explored.

Finished chapters 2 & 3. The Vanishing Glass (ch 2) jumps ahead ten years and fills in a few gaps. Random note: a Brazilian boa constrictor that has never been to Brazil because it was bred in a British zoo says “Thanks, amigo”?! How does this snake know Portuguese?
The Letters From No One (ch 3) was a more entertaining chapter for me because of how irrational the Dursleys are.

Finished Chapter 1, The Boy Who Lived. I enjoyed the structure of the chapter, starting with an ordinary, Muggle perspective and ending with a strange, unknown perspective. I also noticed that we aren’t told who the characters are at the end of the chapter (Dumbledore, McGonagall, Hagrid) or their relation to Harry.

Enjoying the story, looking forward to where it goes.

This ending was insane. How am I not going to read the sequel after that?

Quick read with this one. Chapters are frustratingly short, but the pace is picking up now (dragged in the beginning).

I’m enjoying the different character perspectives, but I dislike that it is in a systematic order. I would like for it to change it up from chapter to chapter, like Allegiant, the last book in the Divergent series, did.

Utterly bored but I plan on finishing it soon.

I am loving this book so far! This is exactly the kind of book i've looking to read ever since i finished the Lorien Legacies series. My favorite books are fast-paced, exciting adventure books that surprise readers. This book not only has all of those elements, it also has a nostalgic tone and reminds me of a lot of different books and movies. I cant wait to see the rest of Wade's journey.

I won't spoil it, but I really hate what Rose is planning to do. Nonetheless, I will continue unhappily reading so I can FINALLY FINISH THE SERIES.

I am thoroughly enjoying this blossoming romance between the two lead characters and I love seeing the character development of the two as well.

Yeah I'm practically finished this book because when I'm not reading it, I'm thinking about it. I decided to visit Goodreads though since it has been awhile and I am really enjoying this series.

Keeps me reading, but the language is weird.

I am really enjoying this book because it is very unique and kind of strange also. There's romance, comedy, and it's scary, but a real-world sort of scary that does not involve ghosts or killers.

I thought that I would hate this book since America is not the narrator, but I think that Eadlyn is a refreshing narrator, even though she acts like a spoiled brat. A huge contrast between her and America is the fact that Eadlyn knows how powerful she is and America was very weak. I mean, Eadlyn is still irritating, but no character is perfect.
