So the smut is good, out here giggling and shit

Someone in the comments said that most of this book is smut, and I gotta disagree. There’s plot but the romance is the main focus, if anything I am rooting for them so much, they’re so cute together and their banter is so fun

Going good so far, I’m loving their inner dialogues it’s actually hilarious.
I think Jamie is just a bit paranoid about his brother but at the same time his brother should be there for him more and reassure him honestly. (Plot wise)

It’s going good so far, really liking the plot and the chemistry. Crazy start if I do say so myself

So Cam finally revealed his trauma which In itself is pretty fucked cuz of the homophobia, and the sa, it makes complete sense that he dates around not staying long with people cuz of the sa. We finally got the name of Mason’s ex-babysitter (cuz he’s weird and doesn’t deserve any other title), and I hate him, like Mason’s parents suck

To people that said this was a quick read, it’s not. It’s a good story but the topics are pretty heavy for a quick read. Overall pace is good so far, Cam is basically in love with Mason and Mason still has no clue what he really wants.

After the beach party, I have mixed feelings cuz this is in Cam’s pov and he has his own trauma. And Mason isn’t really all that smart, really out here destroying himself when he can just tell someone what’s going on to maybe get out of that. Unless there’s like genuine fear and things preventing him from doing that. But I think it’s just himself holding himself back.

The grooming is a lot, reminds me of personal stuff that was going on with a friend, not grooming but the age difference is the same, and in the end it was extremely toxic and exhausting. Do I feel bad for mason, yes and no, cuz it’s infatuation, and also Mason has no idea what he wants to do or be, so I can’t sympathize with him, and he’s just been rude to Cam for most of the story. But I feel for him.

It’s going okay, I still am not really a big fan of mason, he’s just so judgmental it’s insane. And I just want Cam to be more himself

Okay so far it’s okay, Not really vibing with Mason as a character cuz to me his personality feels shitty but maybe it gets better

Okay so I’m really liking this, I feel like for me at least, this is the first time I’m reading a book where everything feels cohesive and flows good, some dialogue is a bit cringe but like it’s cute. I dunno I really like the banter and how the conversations are written and how the plot is being handled, it’s a slow burn and I’m really liking it.

It’s going pretty good, went into it completely blind and I’m liking the dynamics between the characters. Didn’t know this had spice, was advertised to not have spice but I dunno if Riley just thinking about it or having visions, really counts cuz it’s not really too explicit, but besides that the story is good, am enjoying :)

Agatha can actually f*ck right off, she’s a bitch, “I don’t love you anymore, I’m not sure if I love Baz but I’m hopefully waiting for him.” Like girl go jump off a cliff, literally playing with Simons feelings, and yeah it’s his fault too for not doing anything but Christ.

It’s slow going but getting pretty interesting

The beginning was really confusing cuz personally just too many big words that I just didn’t know, but we’re more into it and I’m kind of digging it. I think Darlington is being an ass to Alex, I mean he’s seen her files and case and all that, you think he’d give her some slack cuz shes literally and outsider, but no. Overall love Alex though

Okay so my girl Riley is falling for Nathan, and as much as i am here for it, I just gotta say this book doesnt have the amount of cringe i feel when reading this trope, so I am really enjoying that. But anyways, Riley is starting to like Nathan, I just need Nathan to catch on and maybe see her for once.

Okay so I know we all know this fake dating partner ship is just not going to work out, like it's gonna end in such a cluster of a mess, and I am so here for it, Love Riley's personality, and Nathan he's chill as well.

I'm not really into fake dating because I feel it's never done right, but i feel it in my gillys that I might like this one.

Ngl I dunno if it’s just me but I feel like I am missing a lot of info that feels missed, like the stuff with Byatt makes sense but at the same time I’m super confused. Like what’s going on

Still have no clue on whats going on in the relationship ship scene cuz Reese is mad one minute and not the next and then u have Hetty who is trying her best out here with everything, and she’s so overwhelmed she doesn’t know who to choose, and I’m sitting here like “at this point the three of y’all should just go out”
