I don't hate the story but it feels like there are big chunks missing with no info or not enough info on what happened. The author writes like a 13 year old girl trying to sound cool.

And now theres rape. And its was her fault clearly. And so she stays with the guy. Seriously wtf.

The Main Male Character is an absolute Pig.

this story was so disturbing in sooo many ways.
not only is it about a married man with kids who couldnt care less and a home wrecker who doesnt care because she's just so naive. but sooo many pedo undertones. so so bad. if it didnt have these two humungous issues it would have been an ok read steamy but just couldn't get past it.

This was really really really bad... So many eye rolls. The narration was okay.

Her connection with brother written like it should have been her twin sister so was just weird didn't really make sense.

None of it really flows properly. The "chemistry" part too over the top.

Reading on audible. No wonder they didn't have the male narrator on the sample audio or i would never have wasted a credit on this book. His voice just sounds so gay and it is really hard to get into the book considering he is supposed to be a really popular macho football player it just doesnt fit at all. Bad choice to havevdual narration as the female narrator was fine and could have done the whole thing herself.

There is absolutely no logical explanation for them to just start hooking up at all let alone where they are when they do especially after the super detailed lead up history (or more like limited history) of their interaction growing up. I'm annoyed that i wasted a credit on this because i dont think i can even keep going to see if it gets any better. It just feels so amateur when the plot had so much promise.

Story started out ok but the female leads' incessant babbling is so annoying i couldnt keep my attention on the story and lost interest. Hopefully i can grit and bare it to get through the whole thing because i think the actual plot is decent as far as i can tell so far.

Disappointed. I found it hard to read as the main character Ivy was just way too airy fairy hippy child to the point where it was just annoying. Really struggled to get through this one. Loved the others in the series but the author really missed the mark with ivy.
