I wrote this book before I got sick. It was completely on a dare (I'll talk about that later) and I never planned on publishing it. Now that I'm back to the keyboard, some recent events have this book stuck in my head.

So, my apologies to those waiting for more "Hangry Girl," this cozy fantasy that I never thought I'd write is coming first.

Trudging through this book...but still wanting to give it a try.

This book is weird in its setup, but good.

A read-aloud for homeschool (7th grade). We are both enjoying.

There is so much going on in this book that there's not a single break in the action. Several mysteries/subplots. I can't wait to see how they all fuse together in the end (and you know they will!).

I just devoured the first book and, oh my gawd, it was amazing! Thrills, chilling moments, and sexiness. There are true twists that I never saw coming for a moment and characters you can't tell if they are good or bad until the very last sentence. Can't wait to finish the rest.

FINALLY getting the chance to read this series in order!!!!

This book is not at all what I expected. I thought it was a serial killer thriller with an occult theme. Just finished chap 5 and it transformed into the most terrifying horror I've read recently. My heart is beating so fast!
......*looks around nervously*

Had to put this one up for a minute. Great story so far, but omniscient POV messes with my head and I have to read it in chunks.

Funny, laid-back read so far.

This is so good, but I had to put reading on hold for The Night Manager marathon.

So far this is making the hate-read disaster of the last book all better.

A little disappointed so far. From the blurb, I thought this had an enemies-to-lovers trope. It doesn't. It's friends-to-lovers. Not that I dislike FtL's, I just had my heart set on the other today. Still a good set up in the first chapter. I can already tell that my Friday will feature a super-hot reading experience.

I'm really enjoying this #SkeletonKey Series novella written by JC Andrijeski. Love her intellectual style of writing paranormal fantasy!

The first two chapters: Oh. My. Lord. I had a death grip on the Kindle that must have drained the battery because now I have to wait for it to charge.

Loved this book! Re-reading before the release of the sequel, Love in the Light, on 1/12/16.
