Another reading challenge completed, this was the best year I had since joining GR….many thanks to Nora Roberts (and her alter ego, J.D. Robb) for carrying this year’s challenge for me!

I don’t do new year’s resolutions, but for 2022 I’m setting a goal for myself: don’t wait until the last week of December to update my reading progress and inundate everyone’s feeds with reviews. 😆

I’m not sure how to rate this....on one hand I hated how rushed the romance was and how muddled the historical plot felt at the beginning......but I cannot ignore the heart of this book or how much I felt for the people of this story, how poetic it was.....

I want to love this but how can I do it when the romance feels so rushed?
Thomas is so lovable and the historical plot is nice but I’m not in love with this!
