Great narrative about an amazing person! I learned a great deal. I was most interested in the OSTP/PCAST "teaser" (not a great deal about Ride's government advisement on nonproliferation, but the mention was intriguing). I was in DC when I read this, so ran down to Air & Space to see Sally's spacesuit!

ug. this is so biased. It is not a look at the issues, but a polemic on an opinion. I just hit a "red flag" -- minor, but calling it the "democrat party".. I'm powering on to understand this point of view (definitely a very pointy point of view..)

but, MIT does have the 18.*.*.* class A.. so "semi-props" to the author.

great read, but just to nit-pick. On p 53, the have the IP address of an MIT elevator 12 18.280.090.113.. IP (v4) only goes to 256. Error - does not compute.
