April is starting This Is Happiness
Not finishing this one. His writing is incredibly descriptive, not resonating for me right now.

April is starting America's First Daughter
Great read for historical fiction. Anyone wanting to learn more about American history in the south might consider reading this book.
I read while on a trip to VA and Monticello- it added a lot to our visit!

April is starting The Lost Man
I enjoy her writing and the descriptions of Australia. This one dragged a bit for me, I liked “The Dry” better. It is a good story line though and gets into family issues (we all have in one form or another- these). These were pretty intense though.

April is 80% done with The Puma Years
I’m anxious for it to be over. Tired of over descriptive scenes.

April is starting The Emigrants (The Emigrants, #1)
Going slowly, with the Holidays and this being a “deeper” read, I am not covering many pages. Renewed from library once already.

April is starting Trust Exercise
I am listening to this one- I don’t usually do that. I am only reading (listening) because it is for my book club. So far, I find it confusing and not real interesting. Author’s overly descriptive writing style appears to be covering up the lack of a good story.

April is on page 195 of 262 of Women Rowing North: Navigating Life’s Currents and Flourishing As We Age
I like some chapters, introduction, 6, 9-15 but much of the book seems like “filler” and depressing, not what I need at 66 yo. I will try to skip through the rest.
