Nicole briefly states that she is aware that she and her sister have two separate fathers. Then, not too long after, she informs Riley that she didn't know her sister and she had separate fathers. Uhhh, okay? Like, what?? There are serious editing problems with this book.

How is Tor’s dog with her a page and a half later, when the prospects are walking the dog and haven’t gotten back yet? Nor have they made it past the bad dudes at the front door. Bad editing. Which seems to happen in the series connected to it as well.

Loving this book. Z is making me laugh with his antics and the people he pulls in to help win over Marigold.

I sense a mystery happening with this new side character. Makes me wonder if it leads into the next book, and I hope it’s a Garrett’s book.

Ha! This book is giving me “Wait in the truck” country song by Hardy vibes. I’m in chapter 2 and it basically just showcased the whole song. It’s safe to say that song was the inspo for this book. 100% facts.

Why do authors feel the need to use people’s religions where they know nothing about it ...?

How is Daughtery in two places at once? And who is John all of a sudden...? Did the author really mean Jace? Sigh- I hate when books have screw ups like that.

Why doesn’t anyone think, say, or do anything each time she mentions she feels like she’s being watched or someone was in her home? Or make a big deal about the tiny hole in her ceiling above her bed? Come on - for an MC they don’t seem to do crazy macho protect your lady/sister stuff ... so far.

When did Blake’s name become Austin??? Sigh, I hate name mistakes...

I don’t like how after Sam purges his sad story- then Sofia purges her. I feel like each needed their own time and place and not back to back the way it was. Her chance was a missed opportunity after her anxiety attack at Bella’s.

Whoa! I didn’t see that coming. Only a little part of that twist did I guess.

Two things here- 1. Max has been put in two places at the same time... error it would seem.... and 2. I think the author just threw in an interesting twist about something else. Hopefully thing 2 is true. Fingers crossed.

What?!! No!! Such good closure to only be teased about life and death matters in the epilogue for other Aces High members.

The feelings and emotions! They’re killing me. I think I’ve cried in every chapter up to this point so far- even some ugly crying. Such a good book! And I love the different take on this biker club story. So damn refreshing - because it’s so different. Thank heavens!

On to book two in the boxset, and the writing is just wonky. The author could have done well with an editor. I have to reread sentences and there’s too many run on paragraphs with the word ‘as’ and comas to break them up. It’s driving me a bit batty. I’m not sure if I’ll continue on with the series.

Seriously already. Why does everything have to be about his dick?

Is this just supposed to be a Hound and Keely sex fest? Sigh.

How does Hound have time to do anything when he’s always caring for his neighbor or having sex with Keely? (Insert eye roll here)

Why does she feel the need to use Jude’s name in almost every sentence when she talks to him? It’s finally starting to bother me. He doesn’t call her Gabby every time he forms a sentence to her.

This book has the Rock Chick series by Kristen Ashley vibe to it.

Carter’s an A-hole and funny enough, I’m loving Rhett. Lol 😆
