I'm enjoying this.

The story of Harry and Valeria's reunion and their adjustment to life together aided by his family is told at a steady pace. I always enjoy the interactions of this fictional family. And they've got some enemies to overcome. I was surprised by a twist, which was a totally rational element. No eye-rolling here.
I read an ARC; the thoughts expressed are my own.

Looking into Skye's mother's death is not the center of the story. It includes grieving and I had a sense of Skye's feeling overwhelmed by the numerous decisions to be made. There are ghosts (tragic story) and good friends to help. The story was by no means predictable.

5* A joy to read. A sort of lonely hearts, quick romance between a widower of a few years and a somewhat naive widow, not quite out of her official mourning period.
